속새류
(속새강에서 넘어옴)
속새류는 양치류에 속하는 식물 분류군의 하나이다. 잎의 형태때문에 설엽류(楔葉類, Sphenophyllum)로 불리기도 한다. 양치식물의 한 무리로 양치식물문의 하위 분류가 된다. 또한 이전에는 속새식물문(Equisetophyta)이라는 독립된 문으로 분류했지만, 최근에는 양치식물문 내의 속새강(Equisetopsida)으로 분류하거나 양치식물강에 속하는 속새아강(Equisetidae)으로 분류한다.
