로버트 블러스트

로버트 앤드루 블러스트(영어: Robert Andrew Blust, 중국어: 白樂思, 병음: Bái Lèsī, 1940년 5월 9일 ~ 2022년 1월 5일)는 미국의 언어학자로 역사언어학, 사전 편찬, 민족학 등 여러 영역에 걸쳐 연구 활동을 하였다. 그의 전문 분야는 오스트로네시아어족이었으며, 오스트로네시아 언어학에 주요한 기여를 했다.

로버트 블러스트는 오하이오주 신시내티에서 태어나 캘리포니아주에서 자랐다. 그는 인류학으로 학사 학위를 받았고, 1974년 하와이 대학교 마노아에서 언어학으로 박사 학위를 받았다. 현재, 그는 화와이 대학교 마노아에서 언어학과 교수로 역임하고 있으며, 2005년부터 2008까지 학과장을 맡았다.

오스트로네시아어족 편집
