바늘방석아귀

바늘방석아귀(Neoceratias spinifer)는 아귀목에 속하는 조기어류 물고기의 일종이다.[1] 심해에서 발견되는 희귀 아귀류이다. 바늘방석아귀과(Neoceratiidae)와 바늘방석아귀속(Neoceratias)의 유일종이다. 중서부 태평양의 중층대와 점심해대에서 발견된다. 암컷 성체는 몸길이는 최대 11cm이고, 가늘고 긴 몸을 갖고 있다. 수컷은 2cm 정도이다. 입 주위에 이빨이 수염처럼 턱 바깥쪽으로 제멋대로 나 있다.[1][2]
