옵티마
다른 뜻에 대해서는 옵티마 (동음이의) 문서를 참고하십시오.옵티마(Optima)는 Hermann Zapf에 의해 디자인되고 독일 프랑크푸르트암마인의 D. Stempel AG 파운드리가 출시한 휴머니스트 산세리프 글꼴이다.
산세리프로 분류되지만 옵티마는 글리프 세리프를 제안하는 터미널에서 약간 튀어나온 부분이 있다. 옵티마는 고전 로만 캐피털, 그리고 이탈리아로 향하던 1950년 휴일 자프(Zapf)가 보았던 르네상스 시대의 묘석에 영향을 받았다.[1]
자프는 옵티마가 본문과 제목 모두를 위한 글꼴이 되도록 고안하였다. 이 다재다능함을 입증하기 위해 자프는 그의 책 "알파벳에 관하여"(About Alphabets)를 정규적인 글씨 굵기로 설정했다.[2]
