유럽재정안정기금

유럽재정안정기금(European Financial Stability Facility, EFSF)은 유로존 회원국들에 의해 기금을 받아 유럽 국가 부채 위기를 해결하기 위해 설립된 특수 목적 사업체이다. 2010년 5월 9일 유럽 연합 이사회[a]에 의해 승인되었으며[1] 경제적 어려움이 있는 유로존 국가들에게 금융 지원을 제공함으로써 유럽의 재정적인 안정을 보존하는 것이 목적이다.[2] 이 기관의 본사는 룩셈부르크에 있으며[3] 유럽 안정화 기구(ESM)도 여기에 있다.[4]

EFSF는 최대 4400억 유로를 빌릴 권한이 있으며 그 중에 아일랜드, 포르투갈 긴급구제에 사용된 이후 이용 가능한 잔여 금액은 가운데 2500억 유로가 남아있다.[5]

2012년 1월 기준으로 EFSF는 장기 채무로 190억 유로를, 단기 채무로 35억 유로를 발행했다.[6]
