존 데이

존 데이(John Day 1948년- )는 영국출신의 구약의 학자이다.  옥스퍼드대학교 (2004-13)의 신학부에서 구약학 교수였다.  <In Search of Pre-Exilic Israel (2004)>의 편집자였으며,  God's Conflict with the Dragon and the Sea (1985) , Yahweh and the Gods and Goddesses of Canaan (2000)과 같은 책을 썼다. 레이디 마가레트 홀의 원장이며 신학을 강의하고 있다.  2013년에는 옥스퍼드대학교에서 명예교수가 되었다.
