서명
서명(書名)은 책의 제목을 말합니다.

서명 운동 편집
서명 운동은 어떠한 주장에 대해 찬성한다는 뜻으로 여러 사람이 서명한 것을 모으는 단체 행동을 말한다.
문맹자의 서명 편집
동아시아 한자문화권에서는 수촌이라 하여 손의 외형에 따라 그림으로써 문맹자의 서명을 대신하였다. 수촌을 할 때 남자는 가운뎃손가락만 그리거나, 여자는 새끼손가락만 그리는 경우도 있었다.
로마자 문화권에서는 X나O이라고 적어서 서명을 대신하기도 했다.
저작권 편집
영국 법에서 (이름 그 자체가 아닌) 서명의 보이는 부분은 저작권법의 보호를 받을 수 있다.[2]
미국의 저작권법에서 "주제, 이름, 즉 타이포그래피 장식의 사소한 변화, 글자, 색"은 저작권에 적법하지 않지만[3] (이름 그 자체가 아닌) 서명의 보이는 부분은 저작권법의 보호를 받을 수 있다.[4]
