스콧 코슨

스콧 콧슨(Scott Cawthon, 1978년 6월 4일~ )은 미국의 개인 게임 개발자이다. 대표작으로 프레디의 피자가게가 있다. 미국 텍사스주에서 태어나 휴스턴 미술 대학을 졸업한다. 그러고는 게임 개발 개인사업을 차렸다. 그가 개발한 게임으로는 'CHIPPER & Sons-LUMBER Co.', 'The Pilgrim's Progress' 등이 있다. 그러나 게임의 캐릭터들이 로봇과 같이 기계적으로 생겼다고 해서 큰 비판을 받았다. 그는 절망하여 우울증에 시달리다가 스콧 코슨은 이 단점을 오히려 장점으로 바꿀 수 있다는 것을 알게 된 그는 단점을 극복할 방안으로 공포게임을 만드는 것을 선택한다.
