English: Statue of a larger than life-size korè, in Paros marble. She wears a chiton and himation, tiara with painted meanders, and bronze hair ornaments. Her eyes are set with rock crystal. The work has been dated around 520 B.C. (H.E.9580) and is associated with an epigraphic text. According to the inscription, the potter Néarchos dedicated the statue and the sculptor Anténor made it.
Français : Statue d'une korè plus grande que nature, en marbre de Paros. Elle porte un chiton et un himation, et un diadème avec des méandres peints, ainsi que des ornements de bronze sertis dans les cheveux. Ses yeux sont sertis de crystal de roche. C'est une œuvre datée vers 520 av. J.-C. et associée à un chapiteau épigraphique : selon l'inscription, le potier Néarchos à dédié la statue et le sculpteur Anténor l'a réalisée.
Italiano: Figura femminile in posa frontale (kore) ricomposta da svariati frammenti. Indossa un chitone e un himation portato diagonalmente. Lunghi capelli che scendono sulle spalle e riccioli a spirale organizzati su tre fasce sulla fronte sormontati da un diadema a meandri dipinti. I fori sulle orecchie, sui capelli e sul diadema indicano l'originaria presenza di ulteriore materiale decorativo aggiunto, oltre alla decorazione dipinta di cui restano tracce blu, rosse e verdi. La statua è stata associata ad una base con iscrizione che reca i nomi del dedicatario (il vasaio Nearchos) e dello scultore (Antenor, figlio di Eumares).
