Deutsch: Das Wappen des Landkreises Cochem-Zell wurde am 22. April 1970 vom rheinland-pfälzischen Innenministerium verliehen. Das Kreuz steht für das Kurfürstentum Trier, das Horn für die Herrschaft Braunshorn in Beilstein mit großem Besitz im Kreis und der geminderte Löwe in den staufischen Farben für die Pfalzgrafen von Aachen, die von 866 bis 1150 das Kreisgebiet beherrschten.
English: The arms were granted on April 22, 1970. The arms combine elements from the former two district arms, the cross of Trier and the horn is derived from the arms of the Zell district and the lion of the Pfalzgrafschaft Aachen is derived from the arms of the Cochem district.
Français : L'armoirie du arrondissement de Cochem-Zell a été décernée officiellement le 22 Avril 1970 par le Ministre de l'Intérieur de la Rhénanie-Palatinat. La croix de gueules réprésente l'Électorat de Trèves, le cor de chasse (le huchet) symbolise la Maison de Braunshorn à Beilstein avec une grande possession dans l'arrondissement et le lion issant des couleurs de la Maison de Hohenstaufen derive de l'armoirie des comtes palatins du Rhin qui ont régné sur le domaine de l'arrondissement de 866 à 1150.
