Willy and the Poor Boys

《Willy and the Poor Boys》는 1969년 11월 판타지 레코드가 발표한 미국의 록 밴드 크리던스 클리어워터 리바이벌의 네 번째 스튜디오 음반이다. 이는 그 밴드가 《Green River》에 이어 3개월 만에 발매한 세 장의 스튜디오 음반 중 마지막 음반이었다.[1]

이 음반에는 음반 이름을 딴 〈Down on the Corner〉와 유명한 항쟁가요인 〈Fortunate Son〉이 수록되어 있다.[8] 크리던스 클리어워터 리바이벌는 이번 음반에서도 자체 싱글 〈Cotton Fields〉를 발표해 멕시코에서 1위에 올랐다.[9]

이 음반은 크리던스 클리어워터 리바이벌을 《Willy and the Poor Boys》로 만들면서 〈Down on the Corner〉라는 콘셉트를 갖도록 되어 있었다. 그러나 이것은 밴드의 성격이 그대로 남아 있는 커버를 제외하고는 다소 빨리 떨어지게 되었다.
