매퉁이과
매퉁이과(Synodontidae)는 홍메치목에 속하는 조기어류과의 하나이다.[1] 전세계의 열대 및 아열대 바다에서 발견된다. 물천구와 잔비늘매퉁이, 날매퉁이, 검정매퉁이, 툼빌매퉁이, 매퉁이, 수다꽃동멸, 꽃동멸, 카이야꽃동멸, 주홍꽃동멸, 황매퉁이 등을 포함하고 있다.
