필립 얀시
필립 얀시(영어: Philip Yancey, 1949년-)는 미국의 기독교 작가이다. 1996년 복음주의 기독교출판협의회(ECPA)에서 올해의 책으로 그의 책 《우리가 알지 못했던 예수》(The Jesus I Never Knew, 요단출판사에서 역간)가 선정되었다. 1998년엔 《놀라운 은혜》(What's So Amazing About Grace)가 선정되었다. 그가 책을 내는 곳은 존더반 출판사(Zondervan Publishing)이다.
경력 편집
얀시는 조지아주 애틀란타 태생이다. 휘튼 대학교, 시카고 대학교에서 공부했다. 1971년 일리노이주 시카고로 이사했으며, 복음주의권 기독교 잡지 크리스처니티 투데이 편집자와 리더스 다이제스트, 이브닝 포스트, 퍼블리셔스 위클리, 시카고 트리뷴 매거진등에서 작가로 일했다. 현재는 콜로라도에서 살면서 크리스처니티 주요 작가로 일하고 있다. 한국에는 요단출판사, 좋은 씨앗에서 그의 책을 소개했으며, 2010년에 기독교 작가이자 침례교회 목사인 김기현 목사가 《목회와 신학》에 필립 얀시에 대한 글을 기고하였다.
