Agar.io (Agario이나 아가리오라고도 불리움)은 Reddit 사용자인 Zeach에 의해 개발된 top-down 관점의 대규모 다중 사용자 온라인 웹 게임이다.[1] The game was originally known as Mitosis: The Game before a domain was created.[citation needed] In Agar.io, the player manipulates a circular cell using the mouse and keyboard buttons. The goal of the game is to enlarge the cell by absorbing non-player cells which are randomly scattered around the map, as well as other players' smaller cells.[2] Originally a browser game, Agar.io entered Steam Greenlight and was subsequently "Greenlit" by the community, with the developers indicating that they planned to add more features not available in the web version of the game.[3]
