암살

암살(暗殺)은 중요하거나 유명한 사람을 몰래 죽이는 일이다.^[1] 이데올로기나 정치적 이유인 경우, 또 돈을 목적으로 하거나, 정부의 명령으로 간첩 활동을 통해 암살하는 경우도 있다. 주로 숨어서 총으로 저격하거나 독극물을 먹여서 다른 사람들이 눈치채지 못하도록 죽이는 방법을 동원한다.
