타우마티크티스과
타우마티크티스과(Thaumatichthyidae)는 아귀목에 속하는 조기어류 물고기과의 하나이다.[1] 심해에 사는 작은 아귀류 물고기 과이다. 2개 속에 9종을 포함하고 있다. 몸길이는 19~39cm이고, 모든 대양에서 발견된다.

특징 편집
타우마티크티스과에 속하는 종의 성체 암컷은 다른 모든 심해 초롱아귀류 물고기와 달리 아랫턱의 이빨을 덮을 정도로 윗턱이 유난히 크다.
