ไทย: แพรแถบย่อเหรียญกาชาดสรรเสริญ ตามประกาศข้อบังคับสภากาชาดไทย แก้ไขเพิ่มเติม (ฉบับที่ 72) พุทธศักราช 2553 มีลักษณะดังนี้


ข้อ 95 เหรียญกาชาดสรรเสริญ มีลักษณะเป็นเหรียญทองแดงแบนรูปกาชาด มีวงกลมเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 30 มิลลิเมตร ทับอยู่ด้านหน้ามีรูปนางเมขลาอุ้มพระชนกขึ้นจากมหาสมุทร ด้านหลังกลางเหรียญมีข้อความว่า “กาชาดสรรเสริญ” มีห่วงห้อย สําหรับบุรุษใช้ห้อยกับแพรแถบสีขาวกว้าง 30 มิลลิเมตร มีริ้วสีแดงใกล้ขอบทั้งสองข้าง ด้านหน้าแพรแถบตรงกลางมีกาชาดลงยา สําหรับสตรีใช้ห้อยกับแพรแถบดังกล่าวผูกเป็นรูปแมลงปอ
อนึ่ง ถ้าผู้รับเหรียญได้บําเพ็ญคุณความดีและรับการสรรเสริญของสภากาชาดไทยตามความในข้อบังคับนี้สืบไปในเบื้องหน้าอีกครั้งหนึ่ง ก็ให้เพิ่มเครื่องหมายกาชาดลงยาบนแพรแถบอีกอันหนึ่ง และต่อไปถ้าได้รับสรรเสริญอีกกี่ครั้งก็เพิ่มจํานวนเครื่องหมายกาชาดลงยาขึ้นเป็นลําดับทุกครั้ง ผู้ที่ได้รับเหรียญกาชาดสรรเสริญจะได้รับประกาศนียบัตรประกอบเหรียญที่ได้รับ ถ้าผู้ใดได้รับเหรียญกาชาดสรรเสริญเป็นครั้งที่ 2 และต่อๆ ไปจะได้เครื่องหมายกาชาดติดแถบเหรียญกับประกาศนียบัตรทุกครั้ง และถ้าผู้ใดช่วยชีวิตมนุษย์ไม่ถึงเกณฑ์ที่จะได้รับเหรียญกาชาดสรรเสริญ อาจได้รับประกาศนียบัตรชมเชยได้
