김한영

생애

서울특별시 출생이다.

1984년 한국 홍익대학교 서양화과를 마치고 서울특별시 미술회관에서 단체전으로 등단하였다. 1985년-1987년 사이에는 목판 위주의 판화로 단체전 활동을 주로 이어나갔다. 일본 가나가와미술관 국제판화앙데팡단전에서 첫 국제 전시회를 가졌으며 1987년 홍익대학교 대학원 회화과 석사를 마친 후 1989년 서울에서 개인전을 개최하였다.

주로 목판화위주의 현대미술을 위주로 전시회에 출품하였으나, 2017년 자연의 신호(Signs of Nature)라는 개인전을 통해서 유화 추상미술로 작풍을 전환하는 계기가 된다. 이후 글로벌 아트페어인 KIAF 한국국제아트페어(https://kiaf.org)에 작품을 출품하게 되면서 평단의 좋은 평가를 받았다.

작품 활동

총 14회의 개인전을 국내외에서 가졌고, 2021년에는 런던 사치 갤러리와 피츠로비아 갤러리에 작품을 출품하기도 하였다. 작품경향은 초기의 반추상적인 목판화에서 출발하였다가 근래에는 현대미술에 근간한 완전한 추상화풍으로 전환하여 층(層)과 그라디언트를 통해 자연을 다시각(多示各)적인 방식으로 표현하는 것에 중점을 두고 현재까지도 왕성한 작품 활동을 이어가고 있다.
