마이크로소프트 웍스

마이크로소프트 웍스(Microsoft Works)는 마이크로소프트가 개발하고 1987년부터 2009년까지 판매한 생산성 소프트웨어 제품군이다. 핵심 기능으로 워드 프로세서, 스프레드시트, 데이터베이스 관리 시스템을 포함하였다. 나중 버전들은 캘린더 애플리케이션과 사전 기능을 갖추었고 구 버전들에는 단말 에뮬레이터가 포함되었다. 웍스는 독립적인 프로그램으로 구매가 가능했다. 가격이 저렴(소매가 $40, OEM의 경우 $2)했기에[2] 기업들은 자신들의 저가 머신들에 웍스를 사전 설치하곤 했다. 웍스는 마이크로소프트 오피스와 당시 사용 가능했던 기타 주요 오피스 제품군들에 비해 크기가 작고 값이 저렴하였고 기능도 적었다.
