고분자? 중합체?

예. 맞습니다. 제가 착각했군요. polymer와 macromolecules를 한글로 옮기는것에 있어서 오류가 있었습니다. 그런데, 중합체(polymer)의 정의에 문제가 있는 것 같습니다. 중합체(polymer)는 동일한 단량체(monomer)가 중합반응에 의하여 지속적으로 반복하는 구조를 칭합니다. 그에 반하여 고분자(macromolecules)는 생물학적인 거대분자들인 protein등까지 모두 포함하는 것입니다. 아래 인용구를 참조하십시오.
Polymers are macromolecules built up by the linking together of large numbers of much smaller molecules. The small molecules that combine with each other to form polymer molecules are termed monomer, and the reactions by which they combine are thermed polymerizations.......

그러므로 중합체에 대한 지금 wiki에 있는 정의는 차라리 bio-macromolcules에 관련된 정의와 비슷합니다. 별다른 반론이 없으시면 몇일 뒤에 직접 수정할까 합니다.
