Hyun Sung Kim (born 1971) is a Korean information security specialist and a professor of Department of Computer Engineering at Kyungil University, Korea. He has been authored and co-authored a number of research works on designing hardware architectures for public key cryptosystems and security protocols.
Kim was born in Julla Province, Korea. In 1996, he graduated in Department of Computer Engineering at Kyungil University. Kim received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in 1998 and 2002, respectively, from Department of Computer Engineering at Kyungbook National University. From 2000 to 2002, he worked at Ditto Tech. as a scenior researcher. Currently, he is associate professor at Dept. of Computer Engineering, Kyungil University, Korea.
