선교사어

선교사어(宣教師語)는 재일본 몰몬교 선교사들이 사용하는 영어와 일본어가 혼합된 혼합어이다. 문법과 기능어는 영어, 실질어휘는 일본어로 이루어져 있다.

선교사어의 예

Hey dode [partner, from doryo], okinasai [wake up]! It’s time I got a start on asagohan [breakfast] so we can have some oishii [tasty] muffins before benkyokai [study meeting]. You’re dish-chan [responsible for washing the dishes] this week, so you go take the first fud [bath, from ofuro]. Come on in and I’ll show you how to tsukeru [turn on] the mono [thing].
