대서양가시쥐속
대서양가시쥐속(Trinomys)은 가시쥐과에 속하는 남아메리카 설치류 속이다.[1] 11종으로 이루어져 있다.[2] 분명히 모두 브라질에서 발견된다.[2] 특히 대부분의 종이 브라질 남동부 대서양림의 토착종이다. 아직 조사중인 범위 안에서 확실하게 많이 알려져 있지 않았지만, 점점 다양한 생태 등급의 숲과 건조지에서 다양한 종의 분포가 기록되고 있다. 그러나 고지대에서는 발견되지 않고, 몇몇 분포 지역에서는 근지역 종분화 형태를 보이고 있다.[3]
