TOSEL
TOSEL(Test of the Skills in the English Language, 토셀)은 국제TOSEL위원회가 관리하는 영어능력 인증시험이다. 미국에서 개발된 TOFEL과 TOEIC 시험을 대체하기 위해 개발되어 2004년 9월 5일 첫 시험을 시행하였다.
개요 편집
국제토셀위원회(위원장 이호열)가 만든 시험으로 기존의 시험인 토익(TOEIC) 등을 대체하기 위해 만들어졌다. 기존의 시험이 연령층과 상관없이 성인 중심으로 치러진 반면, 토셀은 초등학생부터 중고등학생, 대학생과 성인 등의 수준에 맞게 맞춤화되어 있으며, 응시료가 토플의 10분의 1 수준으로 싸다. 또한 국산 인증시험이기 때문에 외국에 로열티를 지불하지 않는 것도 특징이다.[1]
